Alex Fager is a seasoned violinist and passionate teacher with a rich musical background. Beginning his violin studies at the age of three, Alex built a foundation that propelled him to remarkable achievements. By 16, he had toured internationally five times and learned from some of the most distinguished teachers, including Kurt Sassmannshaus, Li Lin, Eugene Drucker, and Daniel Phillips.

Alex pursued advanced violin studies at the Bard College Conservatory, where he further developed his skills. His teaching is informed by a deep understanding of body mechanics and efficient playing techniques, ensuring that his students develop strong and healthy playing habits. Alex’s lessons are designed to be engaging and enjoyable for students of all ages and abilities, combining technical mastery with unimpeded musical expression.
As an active performer in Southern California, Alex brings his breadth of experience and deep musical insight to each performance. His ongoing engagements reflect a commitment to artistic excellence and a profound connection to the music.
